Chondrofocus Tablets (Small Breed)

Chondrofocus acts as a nutritional aid in the prevention and management of intervertebral disc disease (ivdd) in small breed dogs.

EACH TABLET CONTAINS:

LOADING DOSE: 1 tablet per 5kg of dog’s bodyweight. Frequency: Twice per day

Duration: For the first 10 days.

MAINTENANCE DOSE: 1 tablet per 5kg of dog’s bodyweight.

Frequency: Once a day.

Duration: For as long as is clinically needed. Recommended from as young as 3 months onwards

Age Group	Recommendation	Rationale
< 8 Weeks	Not recommended.	Immature hepatic & enzymatic pathways; no safety data for resveratrol or ASU in neonates.
8–12 Weeks	Use only under veterinary supervision at ½ dose if congenital spinal risk identified (e.g., chondrodystrophic breeds).	Early antioxidant/chondroprotective benefit possible, but metabolism of ASU and MSM still maturing.
≥ 12 Weeks (3 Months)	Safe for general use per label.	All ingredients have documented tolerance in juvenile dogs beyond the weaning stage; supports early disc and cartilage resilience.
